MALK Enters Protein, the Pantry, and Fall’s Coffee Ritual in Its Biggest Launch Year Yet

PR Newswire

The brand’s biggest year yet is backed by 29% growth, cementing its place as the category-defining alt-milk brand

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — MALK, the category-defining dairy alternative brand known for uncompromising standards across ingredients, process, flavor, and cost, has launched its widest slate of new products to date, moving into protein, the pantry aisle, and fall’s most personal morning ritual, each under the same standard: zero oils, gums, natural flavors, or fillers.

MALK's Newest Innovations: Shelf Stable Soy & Cashew MALK, Whole MALK, and Cinnamon Coconut Milk Creamer

Leading the new roll-out is Whole MALK, the first product the brand has built as a direct alternative for dairy milk. An organic blend of coconut, cashew, soy, and pea protein delivers 12 grams of plant protein per serving, fortified with calcium, iron, vitamins, and other minerals. Protein is the leading purchase driver in the category, which makes 12 grams the price of entry rather than the point of difference. What sets Whole MALK apart is what it leaves out.

Arriving with it are MALK’s new shelf-stable SKUs, Coconut and Cashew Milk in pantry-approved shelf-stable packaging, bringing two of the brand’s most established flavors out of the refrigerated set and into stock-up territory. Rounding out the slate is the Cinnamon Creamer, made with real cinnamon and an organic coconut base, with none of the natural flavors found in nearly every competing product. It extends the Coconut-Based Creamer line MALK introduced earlier this year, now the anchor of the brand’s creamer portfolio. Alongside the Cinnamon Creamer launch, Pumpkin Spice Almond Milk, one of MALK’s most-requested seasonal items, is back for Fall, with the brand’s beloved Holiday Nog also back on shelves this Fall for the holiday season.

The launches follow the strongest growth stretch in MALK’s history. Sales are up 29% year to date, including 46% growth across traditional and mass retail, making MALK the fastest-growing brand among the top 10 refrigerated plant-based milk brands across multi-outlet, natural, and specialty channels at 18%. MALK’s portfolio has grown from three products in 2021 to 20 today, growth that carried the brand past $94 million in sales and 1.4 million units in 2025.

“Protein, pantry, and a coffee ritual people won’t compromise on. That’s time, place, and routine, covered,” said MALK President Ryan Rouse. “We aren’t growing just to get bigger. We’re going everywhere our standard already belongs.”

Product is only half of MALK’s year. The brand is also the exclusive dairy alternative behind Erewhon’s celebrity smoothie collaborations, featured in collabs with Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Sabrina Carpenter, and others. That same cultural pull has extended into a growing list of brand partnerships, including Kith Treats, Coconut Cult, Cha Cha Matcha and Los Angeles’ Leora Cafe, brands choosing to build on MALK rather than the other way around.

Whole MALK is available now at Whole Foods Market, Target, and Sprouts for $6.99. Shelf-Stable Coconut and Cashew MALK are available on Amazon for $6.99. Cinnamon Creamer retails for $6.49 and is available at retailers including Whole Foods Market, Target, Sprouts, Wegmans, and Publix.
