PITTSBURGH, PA, UNITED STATES, September 3, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — AGBESS, a provider of energy and resilient power solutions for the public sector, today announced a strategic partnership with ZeroBase Energy, a developer of hybrid, mobile and deployable power systems. The partnership expands AGBESS’s technology portfolio with solutions designed to reduce generator dependency and fuel consumption while delivering reliable power for critical facilities, remote locations and mobile operations.
Through the partnership, AGBESS will offer these solutions for applications including communications and remote sites, emergency and disaster response, defense and expeditionary operations, municipalities and public safety, transportation, utilities, critical infrastructure and other locations where reliable power is essential.

The systems integrate battery energy storage with generators, renewable energy and available grid power to improve efficiency and operational flexibility. Options range from fixed hybrid power systems for critical facilities and communications sites to portable, trailer-mounted and transportable units that deliver power where grid service is limited, unreliable or unavailable — reducing generator runtime, fuel consumption and maintenance demands along the way.

“Public-sector organizations need power solutions that can adapt to very different operating environments and requirements,” said Lidia Hidalgo, President of AGBESS. “This partnership expands what we can bring to customers, from critical facilities and communications sites to remote and mobile operations. It’s another step in building a broader portfolio around the real energy resilience needs of the public sector.”

ZeroBase Energy has deployed more than 1,000 hybrid power systems worldwide across defense, government, humanitarian and commercial applications, and its technology is built to coordinate multiple power sources for maximum efficiency in demanding environments.

These solutions will be available to more than 50,000 Sourcewell cooperative purchasing members across the U.S. and through AGBESS’s competitively awarded Sourcewell contract (#062625-ASTG), giving participating government agencies, educational institutions, municipalities, utilities and other public entities a streamlined procurement pathway.

“ZeroBase Energy is pleased to announce our partnership with AGBESS. The partnership of ZeroBase Energy and our field-proven, resilient energy solutions with the sales and marketing focus that AGBESS brings to their public sector clients will prove to be a win-win for all involved, including clients,” said Mark Lucas, President and CEO of ZeroBase Energy. “ZeroBase Energy is very excited about this opportunity and the opportunity that it will bring to our customers.”

Through its growing portfolio of technology partners, AGBESS helps public-sector organizations evaluate energy and backup power requirements and identify solutions based on the needs of each application. This addition strengthens AGBESS’s ability to support customers across fixed, mobile, remote and mission-critical power environments.
