Linqto Continues to Pursue Litigation Against Forge and Schwab to Recover Millions of Dollars in Damages to More than 13,000 Linqto Customers

Linqto, Inc. today announced that it continues to pursue its litigation against Forge Global, Inc. and its owner, The Charles Schwab Corporation, and would seek full monetary damages for harms caused to Linqto’s 13,000+ customers, as well as repayment of all legal fees connected to this case. Linqto also announced that it is pursuing alternative risk mitigation strategies to exit bankruptcy as quickly as possible should Forge Global continue to refuse to perform as agreed.

Linqto was forced to take these actions to protect the recovery of its customers after several weeks of failed negotiations with Forge and Schwab. On July 15, 2026, just days before Linqto was to exit from bankruptcy, Forge, under instructions from Schwab, broke its contractual commitment to serve as trustee for the Liquidating Trust as part of the confirmed Plan of Reorganization. This action was taken without warning and caused significant and immediate harm to Linqto customers, who were already previously and materially harmed by the fraudulent actions of prior management that forced the filing for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection in July 2025.

“In today’s hearing, the UCC and John Deaton expressed frustration with Forge. We agree. It’s intolerable and wrong that Linqto is still in bankruptcy because of the unwillingness of Forge and Schwab to fulfill their obligation to serve as trustee of the Liquidating Trust,” said Dan Siciliano, CEO of Linqto. “Linqto was days away from exiting this process and delivering a speedy and efficient bankruptcy when Forge backed out. We’ve now spent too much time trying to accommodate Forge without any results.”

While the process continues, it is important to note that the securities to be transferred for the benefit of Linqto’s customers remain safe and secure, and that the value of customer-linked securities has increased significantly, from $657 million (June 2025) to $1.3 billion (May 2026).
